Instrument training
People interested in learning how to collected crystallographic data are strongly encouraged to follow the appropriate course (see teaching page) before asking for training.
Training
Users who would like to learn to run crystallographic experiments can request training for individual techniques
- SXRD (approx. 6 x 3 hours, data acquisition, analysis, and refinement for publication-ready crystal structures)
- PXRD (data acquisition)
- ED (approx. 6 x 3 hours, data acquisition)
These times are estimates. The exact duration depends on the individual progress. Participants will be allowed access to the respective instruments only once they are sufficiently confident to handle the equipment with care.
